What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Progyluton?

I haven t had my menses for the past 4 months with no pregnancy (26y/o). Tried Duphaston in April but period did not appear. Subsequently going for 21 days of Progyluton. Progyluton was finished on last Thursday and yet there is no symptoms of menses until now. Why is the possible problems if menses is not coming even after trying progyluton?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

If you did not have any periods after Progyluton then it can be due to a hormonal imbalance. This needs a few hormonal blood tests to find the cause of absence of bleeding. An ultrasound scan may also be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Rakhi Tayal, OBGYN
