Dear Doc, Me and my gf had unprotected sex last month of 13th of August. She consumed an i pill within 5 hrs of sex with dinner. Her monthly periods usually come by 1st of every month. Still she hasnt got her periods. Can you suggest if she is pregnant or no??
If she had regular periods then the contact occured during the peak fertile days. Neverthless the I pill prevents pregnancy and she has taken them early. So the delayed periods are most likely due to the pill.
If the periods are delayed more than 7 days, get a urine pregnancy test done. If it is negative then there is no need to worry just wait and the periods will come.
Please do not worry, most likely the periods will come. Hope this satisfies your query. Thanks for using HCM. Feel free to ask any more questions that you may have. Dr Madhuri Bagde Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist
