What Causes Delayed Period While HPT Is Negative?
My period is normally a few days earlier then what my tracking app says, however now I m 2 days late. I took a home pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. Earlier today I got a sharp stabbing pain on my lower left side. I also normally get cramps days before hand (different from the sharp pain today) but still no cramps. Any idea what it could be or do I need to go in and see a doctor?

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy, stress or hormonal disturbances.Sometimes, the ovulation is delayed and hence the conception is delayed, and urine pregnancy test comes positive a bit late.
I will suggest you to wait for the periods for another one week, if delayed, then do repeat the urine pregnancy test to confirm the diagnosis.
