Hello,

Kindly mention which drug is prescribed to you. For delay menstruation first thing I want to rule out is pregnancy if unprotected sexual intercourse history present. For that urine HCG card test can be done. Second, sometimes excess stress, overfasting, thyroid, diabetes, excess exercise, etc., factors can lead delay menstruation.

Sometimes ovarian problem and hormonal imbalance can be the factor for delay in menstruation. Investigate with USG pelvis, TSH, T4 estimation and hormonal estimation if required. Consult gynecologist for examination and further work-up accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
