What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Taking Primolut-N?

I took primolute n -5mg for three days , three tablets every day.. to prepone my periods. I stopped taking the pill four days back but have not yet started my periods.please advice is this normal ? Within how many days post stopping the pill do you get your periods?

Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. Withdrawal bleeding usually occurs 3-7 days after completion of hormone course. Sometimes, it may take as long as ten days. Moreover, to advance a period, it is suggested that the course be taken soon after the previous menstrual period since it is more effective. Please see your health care provider if you do not see a period even after ten days as other causes like pregnancy and other causes of a delayed period have to be checked for. Hope this helps.
