What Causes Delay In Period,dizziness And Vomiting?

Hi My wifes period is now 12 days delayed ,and we did HPT twice (1st on 3rd day after missed period and 2nd on 11th day after missed period) and both came negative.Having said that she is getting backache,head ache intermittently and past couple of days she is feeling like dizziness/faint/Vomitting feeling.Please advise as we are planning for a baby.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Your wife has delayed period by 12 days.with two pregnancy tests -ve.
* I feel the 1st test was done too early to be +ve. The 2nd test should have been +ve in case of pregnancy. Still ,it again may be early in case of late conception.
I would advise you repeat test after 3-4 days/ blood HCG test any time now to confirm the diagnosis.
* Sometimes too much eagerness/psychological stress also leads to delayed period.This can also be associated with pregnancy like symptoms.Do not worry, even if the test is -ve this time.
Consult a gynecologist for regularising the period/ get investigated to confirm normal ovulation/good sperm count. Test ovulation day by LH surge test & have unprotected sex accordingly.you will get good results.
