General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms suggests oligomenorrhea.
It is menstrual periods occurring at intervals of greater than 35 days, with only four to nine periods in a year.
Following are the most common causes:
Hyperthyroidism, excessive stress, Polycystic ovarian syndrome.
I advise you to consul the gynecologist and undergo following investigations:
Reproductive hormone analysis, thyroid hormone analysis, USG scan and ovarian follicle study.
Specific treatment will depend on the cause of the problem.
Hope this may help you
