What Causes Delay In Conceiving After First Miscarriage?
I AM 23 YEAR OLD AND I GOT PREGNANT DEC.2010 BUT DUE TO SOME RESION I GOT MISCARRIAGE. I ASKED MY DR. FOR WHAT IS THE RESION BUT HE TOLD SOME TIME IT HAPPENS. HE ALSO TESTED MY FETUS BUT THE TEST WAS NORMAL AND HE ALSO TESTED MY THIROD BUT IT WAS ALSO NORMAL. NOW WE R TRING BUT NOTHING IS GOING . I AM VERY DIPRESSED. WHAT WILL I DO? IS THERE ANY PROBLEM? WHEN CAN I GET PREGNENT?

Hi,
I understand your concern.Some times post abortal infections/fever cause difficulty in next conception.
- To exclude any such possibility, you should get a gynecological examination & investigations like ovulation study ,tube testing.
-Also your husband's semen analysis is to be tested .
- Blood tests like KT,VDRL,blood sugar are to be performed for both partners.
- Any problem with either of you should be tackled with a gynecologist's advise.
- After every thing is confirmed to be normal, you can conceive with an unprotected sex around your ovulation day.It can be tested by -
LH test/ fall in morning temperature graph/ it is 14 days prior to the expected date of following menstruation.
- Early diagnosis( by blood HCG testing around the expected menses) & treatment is advised to ensure safe pregnancy.
