What Causes Decreased Heartbeat Rate During Pregnancy?

Hi I am 9 months pregnant and my heart rate has went from 95-100 most of my pregnancy down to a heart rate of now 75. I am about two weeks from delivery. At my last checkup the baby had two episodes of bradycardia on my weekly NST. Went over to the hospital and and did another NST and the baby was fine. What could be causing my decreased heart rate and is it possible to be affecting the baby s heart rate?

welcome

Bradycardia may be due to cord around neck or your NST Probe may be displaced, I will advice go for color-doppler to rule out cord around neck , if color- doppler is normal then you can wait for spontaneous labour otherwise as you have completed 37 weeks you can go for planned delivery.

good luck.
