What Causes Cramping In Lower Abdomen While On Nexplanon?

Hello. For the past few days I have been having a constant cramping feeling in my lower abdomen and also some pain to the touch. I had a period at the end of last month so I would be a little early for my next one. I am bleeding when I wipe. I am having unprotected sex but Ive been on the Nexplanon implant for a little over 3 months now so I m getting used to the spotting. Could this discomfort I m feeling be from the implant? I don t think I could be pregnant since I gave the bc plenty of time to work before having unprotected sex. Also I have had some slight discomfort while urinatig recently that seems to get better then get worse over and over. Should I see a doctor soon?

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Nexplanon implant causes irregular spotting or bleeding.
However, cramps and pain in the lower abdomen are not the side effect of nexplanon.
It can be due to pelvic infection or urinary tract infection.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined internally, invinvestigated including vaginal swab examination and urine examination and get appropriate treatment timely.
