What Causes Constipation With Grey Stool?
my 5 week old is constipated. i am giving her miralax but she still screams and i have to stimulate her to have a bowel movement. she had a positive d-dimers when she was born. when she does stool its a pasty gray color. she also has reflux. her stomach causes her so many problems. no tests have been run on her though, her peds doc says she will grow out of it. should i take her in for some kind of test?

Constipation is passage of hard stools.
It is normal phenomenon in some infants, no need to worry about it if child is gaining weight properly.
You can give anal stimulatin or you can use suppository for bowel movement.
Reflux can be reduced by burping for 20- 30mins.
All these things will be normal as the child grows older.
