The symptoms you described may be caused by a number of things including a change of diet (solid food can jolt your baby’s digestive system, causing
constipation)
dehydration or a minor illness like a
cold. I would suggest giving your baby extra fluid (including water), foods high in fiber: pureed or chopped apples, apricots, blueberries, grapes, pears, plums, prunes, raspberries and strawberries are all high in fiber. You could also add a small amount of high-fiber cereal to your baby’s usual breakfast cereal. If the situation doesn’t get better I suggest you to talk to your doctor about your baby’s health.

• When this all did start? How is it progressing since then?
• Did your baby lose appetite and weight recently? If yes how much in what time?
• Do you still breastfeed your baby? If not when did you stop?
