What Causes Constipation, Dark Stool And Bloating?

i was in the hospital 2 mo s ago with intestinal blockage and Pancreatitis the right upper side of my stomach has swollen up again and am experiencing bad constipation this past Tues evening i took some milk of magnesia and no results Wednesday night again i took some more m of mag. no results until last nite or this morning around 2 am then produced lots of thick runny black stool back and forth to the bathroom until 8 am my stomach still hurting and still feeling bloated at 11:30 i drank 2 small bottles of magnesium citrate soda and have had three more movements of really loose black stool. what s your prognosis what do I do?

Hello

Thanks for asking question on HCM. Black stools suggest - melena, which is altered blood in the stool. You also have past history of pancreatitis and intestinal obstruction - details of which are unknown. But presently I would suggest you to meet your physician and get evaluation including Hb to rule out GI bleed.
