What Causes Constipation And Bleeding Through Anus?

im very constipated at time when i go to the bathroom, i have a little blood in when i wipe. this morning i got really scared. i saw enough blood to change the color of the water and something that kinda of look like clots. also when i wipe there was a good amount of blood on the tissue. i really dont like this.

I share your concern.
Blood in stool is a matter of concern and it warrants detailed evaluation to find out underlying cause for it.

Constipation might be a cause as passage of hard stool may rupture the anal mucosa and cause bleeding in stool.
At the same time other causes to be ruled out simultaneously like hemorroids, Fissure in Ano, bleeding disorder or intestinal motility disorders.

Please follow these guidelines for immediate relief
1 you should take laxative like liquid paraffin or lactulose 30ml at bed time to avoid constipation
2. You should take lots of fluids like ORS solution and fruit juices
3. have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and dietary fiber supplement which will increase roughage and facilitate bowel movement.
4. Sitz bath is advisable.

after it continues than you should immediately go to Emergency care or GP for physical examination and blood investigation to assess the amount of blood loss, in case of severe blood loss you may require a iron supplements or blood transfusion if need be.
