What Causes Constipation Along With Amoeba Infection?

my daughter was diagonsed with amoeba and treated with metronidazole. she was ok for a week now after finishing her midcations, but this week she started gettting constipated. Is this related to amoeba, the medicaton or her diet? She had vomiting during her illness of amoeba

Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Metronidazole is the correct treatment for Amebiasis which your daughter has completed the course of. Vomiting during amebiasis can be due to mixed infection causing gastroenteritis or Metronidazole can also cause gastritis and resultant vomiting.
Constipation developing one week after treatment is not related to amebiasis or metronidazole; it is most probably related to the changed diet, less intake of fibers and fluids or so.
If there are not other problems than constipation I would advise her the following:
Give her high fiber diet and Isabgol husk with plenty of oral fluids. If this does not work you can give her additional Cremaffin Plus at bedtime. Ask her to take normal full diet. This should help solve her problems.
