Hi Dear, Welcome to HCM. Understanding your concern. The problem you mention in query is probably occur due to eustachian tube dysfunction. Eustachian tube is a small tube connecting middle ear or inner ear to naso pharynx and it keep the pressure balance between middle ear and nasopharynx . There can be many reasons for eustachian tube dysfunction . It usually occur when it become clogged due to mucus produce because sinusitis , post nasal drip and chronic upper respiratory infection. If there are no symptoms like i mention above then the probable reason would be allergy which make it inflamed and cause problem . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist (ear,nose and throat ) again to discuss the case . Doctor may order X-ray of face or CT scan to find out exact cause . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course , expectorant and anti histamine drug depending upon the diagnosis . Till then start taking over the counter anti histamine drug like benadryl .
