What Causes Clitoral Pain?

Recently I have developed some sort of pain around my clitoris. At the slightest touch, such as wiping, I get an intense pain, almost like there is a scratch on the surrounding area. There s also a smell that has developed. I noticed it while I was in the shower washing. It s a very fishy smell, not how I usually smell at all. My discharge has not noticeably changed and from what I can tell my vaginal area looks totally fine, no bumps or rashes or anything.

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern. From your description, it appears as though you are experiencing some infection locally. Any abrasion also should be excluded by inspection by an expert. Avoid using tight undergarments, vaginal douches using strong soap solutions and tampons. Do not rub. Please see your health care provider for further assistance. Hope this helps.
