What Causes Clicking Sensation In Groin Or Inguinal Area?

I have a clicking sensation in my groin or inguinal area. I do not see or feel a bulge like a hernia. When I strain there is a little soreness in the this area and sometimes a clicking sensation, like a small tube or ligament is clicking? Any idea of what this could be?

Hi,

It may be the beginning of hernia, so you should see a doctor to examine you. In the meantime, do not make any strain or carry heavy objects.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
