Hello,

The timeline of symptoms is not clear from the question. Am I correct in understanding that the periods stopped on 10th March followed by passage of blood stained mucus later during the cycle? Having other details of your history such as your age, number of pregnancy/ child birth before, any difficulty with conceiving / carrying a pregnancy, any future pregnancy or family goals, use of contraception, other health issues and medications, if any - would have been helpful.

Knowing the last menstrual period (LMP - the first day of period) is useful. From the history it appears that the LMP was 1st March And a bleeding few days after period stopped could most likely be associated with ovulation. This can be painful and cramp like pains can occur, which respond well to common pain relief medication such as paracetamol or ibuprofen (unless you are asthmatic). The mid-cycle pain and bleeding could be a one off or recurrent episode.

My suggestion would be to maintain a menstrual chart. There are many smart phone apps that can help you keep track of bleeding pain and other associated symptoms such as discharge during each menstrual cycle. No active treatment is required for this as such now. If it persists, then a scan could be done to rule out any pelvic abnormality.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
