What Causes Clear Film On Lower Half Of Cornea?

Hi yes....so brief history: I used to get seasonal allergies as a child but didn t have an issue for many years....this year I am living in Paris and the allergies are pretty bad - I suffered usual allergy symptoms and my eyes were really itchy all the time with strings of yellow puss (or something stringy yellow) forming all the time.....I tried different allergy medicines but nothing helped - it seems possible that I got an eye infection from itching them and so I did 1 week of ciproflaxin eye drops - this didn t help. A few days later I started using an anti-septic eye drop for allergic conjuvitis but that didn t help.......now I am using oflaxacin and I am on my 3rd day but they are still very red and do not seem to be improving.....I am using an eye wash in between to clear out gunk before applying the antibiotic drops. Today I noticed a clear film which looks very slightly bubbly on the lower half of my cornea in my left eye and am not sure what it is...it doesn t hurt or particularly bother me but both of my eyes are still red with puss (small balls like gunk or stringy stuff) coming out.... Any suggestion(s) will be greatly appreciated.

allergic conjunctivitis increasing in parish can be understood. change of place can be a reason. the allergen you are sensitive to may be available in Paris. your information about yellow pus is not understood. yellow pus discharge is not related to allergy. it can be only with bacterial infection. you have used two antibiotic but it is not responding. in reality it requires local examination by eye doctor. or you can go for culture and sensitivity test of yellow pus. diagnosis is possible with culture and examination of doctor.
