I have been feeling short of breath with exertion for about a month; I have been dizzy with change of position for about a year or so. Today after climbing steps I was short of breath for about 30 min, during this time I was lightheaded and felt buzzy all over as well as very hot and shakey and all over weak, nauseated. After a banana and some gaterade I felt good enough to drive home but the hot/sweaty turned into freezing. I just slept for about 2 hours and I still feel slightly short of breath (more like pressure), I m slightly shakey and still nauseated. I don t want to go to the ER just for them to say theres nothing wrong but I don t want to miss anything. I am a smoker unfortunately.
