What Causes Chronic Ear Infection?

MY DAUGHTER JUST HAD DOUBLE EAR INFECTIONS (CHRONIC) ONE HAD FLUID IN IT AND SHE LOST HER HEARING TEMPORARLY. SHE IS STILL COMPLAINING AFTER TO ROUNDS OF ANTIBIOTICS.. HER EAR WAS IS DARK BROWN AND GREEN AND STINKS BADLY.. IS THERE SOMETHING I CAN DO?

hello,thanks for your query, foul smelling discharge, blood tinged pus(brown), loss of hearing, repeated infection-activated with water per ear,swimming, common cold, sinus infection suggestive of cholestetoma. it is a bone eroding disease can cause life threatening complications. she may require ear cleaning, antibiotic drops and oral antibiotics. detailed ent examination, audiometry to know the degree of deafness. kindly visit an ent surgeon for proper evaluation and treatment.all the best. take care.
