What Causes Choking In Throat Along With Pain In Chest?

I choked on tortillas chips a few hours ago, no one was here I panicked... I am stuck my finger down my throat and came out, but my chest is hurting and in my back similar to where it feels stuck in the front. I can breath having alot of acid reflux.... Is this normal or should I seek medical attention...

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have choking in throat along with pain in chest. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like bronchitis , allergic reaction , GERD or heart disease like coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure or heart attack. I would suggest you to consult cardiologist first to rule out more serious condition . Doctor may order ECG , TMT , complete blood profile along with checking vitals . Doctor may prescribe isosorbide nitrate , aspirin , betablockers or may order angiography . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist for acid reflux problem or chest specialist for chest problem . For now stay calm , drink plenty of water , do not eat heavy meals , keep your head elevated while sleeping .
