What Causes Chest Pain With Bleeding From The Nose?
Hi doc, My wife is 22 and has a 13 month old baby. She has been experiencing pains at the back of her heart, left arm, shoulder and back of the neck. This has been followed by a heavy bleeding of her nose. Her Doc at the ER has been giving her a drift through the back of her palm. Is this angina? What is the relationship between the heavy nose bleeding and the pains? Thanks, Raphael.

hi
pain in the left side of the chest, with nasal bleeding or epistaxis can be related to the cardiac problems,or hypertension,or local nasal problems like crusting or any bleeding disorders.
please investigate for your coagulation profile, ECG with complete cardiac evaluation with the cardiologist & echocardiogram.
please check her blood pressures regularly, it can be hypertensive episode of bleeding, added with an ENT opinion to rule out any local crusting or bleed.
all the best take care
