What Causes Chest Pain, Heart Palpitations With Blood Rushing And Flushed Feelings?

I have a question about the warning signs for a heart attack. I'm a 19 year old male who is slightly obese. I've been feeling very mild pain in my chest for a couple days now, but nothing that would seem to indicate anything out of the ordinary. About 20 minutes ago, i had a totally random episode just walking across a room where my heart started racing and i felt a rush of blood in my limbs and head. This episode only lasted about 10-20 seconds and hasn't re-occurred so far, although i still do feel slightly flushed. This has never happened to me before I want to know if i should be concerned and seek immediate help.

Hi,

In your age short palpitation are common. About mild chest pain you shouldn't worry, it is more likely muscle pain.
In case you have palpitation again, I would advise you to undergo ECG and holter monitoring

Wish you good health
