What Causes Chest Pain Behind The Breast?

My chest hurts on the right side behind my breast. Thought I pulled a muscle but not sure how. Started yesterday morning, have iced some and taken aleve yesterday and ibuprphin today. Seems worse and feels like it goes through to my back some and kind of on my right side and under my breast now. Not excruciating...more aggravating. Hurts when I turn wrong etc.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It seems to be musculoskeletal pain as pain worsens during movement. For that, you can complete the course of ibuprofen. A hot compress can be applied over that.

Don't apply ice. Avoid movement that causing pain. Take sleep in proper position and avoid bad sleep posture.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
