What Causes Chest Pain And Mild Fever?

I have been having mild to moderate chest pain for three days now. I am tired and weak. I have a low fever 99 to 100. I am also burping a lot. What could it be? Last night the pain in my chest started to feel like I was choking from my chest. It s hard to explain but, I considered going to the hospital. The pain in my chest is worse tonight.

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you should consult doctor and get done
1. ECG
2. Chest x ray
3. Clinical examination and respiratory system.
ECG is needed to rule out cardiac cause for your chest pain.
Chest x ray is needed to rule out lung infection. Because chest pain, fever and weakness in common in pneumonia. So better to rule out this first. So chest x ray is needed.
So, don't wait at home. Consult doctor and first diagnose yourself, then start appropriate treatment.
