What Causes Chest Pain Along With Fast Heart Beat?

I had some pain in my chest this morning for a short time. No other pain. i belched quite a bit through the day, which is abnormal for me. I felt better after I did this for quite a long period of time. My heart rate is pretty fast tonight. Should I be concerned? I am a woman, age 62.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for your question on HCM.
From the short history that you have given me,im considering a diagnosis of an acute attack of gastritis, especially since you had a lot of belching.i would recommend you to take tab .pantoprazole 40 mg for a week once a day every morning half an hour before breakfast.this should help relieve your symptoms.avoid any kind of spicy and oily food for a few days.
hope this information was helpful.
regards,
Dr.Radhika
