General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello....
the pain you are facing is due to the heated gas that came up the furnace which you inhaled. the gas will go away on its own and the pain will subside eventually in a day or 2. but if it does not please visit a physician to get your thoraxic region and lungs checked.
thank you
