Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
Duramine is Phentermine and palpitations, chest discomfort, elevation of blood pressure are recognised side effects. Since you don't have high blood pressure or heart disease, it may not be dangerous or a cause of concern. It ought to be better soon. If it persists or there is chest pain or dizziness, you should see a doctor and have an EKG done.
Take care,
Dr Noble Zachariah
