General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear, in my day to day practice I get a number of patients with this particular problem.it is because of excessive presence of acid in our stomach.Due to some normal condition or because of too much intake of hot and spicy food our stomach start secreting excessive amount of acid. This cause chest pain or heartburn. When we lie down this acid easily comes to our mouth and irritates our salivatory glands there, causing too much salivation.
