What Causes Burning Sensation In Arm When Diagnosed With Spinal Stenosis?

I have spinal stenosis. My left scapula tingles intermittently. I have burning on the inferior surface of my upper arm and mild arm pain, mostly in the shoulder region. I still have strength. The burning sometimes extends to the lower arm inferior surface as well.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
Thanks for the query.
In spinal stenosis there is nerve compression at spinal level. The burning in scapular region is due to compression/ irritation of nerve sulying to the area.
Thanks.
