What Causes Burning Sensation During Intercourse After Being Treated For Appendix Removal?
I had my appendix removed 2 weeks ago tomorrow. however me and my partner tried intercourse last night and it was fine just a slight burning sensation after but this morning i have woke to blood and mild cramping could this be my period or have i damaged something?
Hi Greetings. Two weeks after an uncomplicated appendectomy intercourse can be done. Was it open surgery or Laproscopic.? In Laproscopic surgery recovery is faster. was the post operative period uneventful.? where you catheterised.? Was there any infection in vagina before? All this indicates any infection causing bleeding during intercourse. since your inside vagina was not opened an injury cannot happen inside. It was possible after a vaginal surgery.so it should be your regular periods and if not consult a gynaecologist. Hope you are convinced. Regards
