What Causes Burning Mouth Syndrome After Increasing Synthroid Dosage?

My husband has had his thyroid removed and takes 137mcg of synthroid daily. A few weeks ago his dosage was increased to that level. At about the same time, he developed a hot tongue and throat. Can the hot tongue syndrome be related to the snythroid increase.

this is possible. since thyroid has been removed it is tobe compansated. it is to be adjusted cautiously. if increased then it can be decreased. there is noalternative. you are free to take second opinion.
