What Causes Burning, Itching And Swelling Around Clitoris?
Hi, I am treating pinworms right now and took the medicine for it yesterday but this morning I started feeling this burning , painful and also itching feeling around my clitoris and now it is feeling swollen and it is red with a little red bump on top, could it have anything to do with the pinworms? Is it something else?a

Hello,
If you have noticed that your clitoris becomes swollen when you get excited, or immediately after masturbation, or sexual contact, you know that this is completely normal and not a situation to generate alarm or concern.
Other pathological conditions are:
1. Vaginal infections: Vaginal atrophy, Vulvodynia, Vaginal thrush or candida
2. In grown hair
3. Also possible that ring worm at night come around the anus and lay eggs may be able to cause irritation
4. Bartholin cyst
5. Allergies
6. Excessive testosterone
7. Clitorodynia
Avoid irritants application, avoid soaps and shampoos that cause irritation, local application of steroid cream may be useful. Use anti-histamine twice a day for five days and get treatment for pin worm infection.
If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
