What Causes Bumps In The Genital Region?

About two days ago I went to an amusement park and was sweating a lot. This morning I realized I had a outbreak of bumps on my genitals (I m a female) and buttocks. It hurts to stand, lay down or walk. They are itchy and burn can they be herpes or sweat rash?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms may be likely due to heat and sweat rash. Calamine lotion can be applied to reduce any burning or discomfort. Ice pack can also be applied. In case of any bacterial infections, antibacterial creams can be applied. Adequate hydration and personal hygiene is essential.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
