What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge And Blood In Urine During Pregnancy?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...
I am 5 weeks pregnant and for the past 3 days ive been experiencing a brownish discharge/spotting. I got an ultrasound done and everything looks ok. Today there was no spotting but when I went to the bathroom i saw a blood clot in my urine. Is there a cause of worry?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Spotting or bleeding in early pregnancy can be due to threatened abortion, ectopic pregnancy, subchorionic haemorrhage or idiopathic(no cause is found).
If the ultrasound is normal, then there is no reason to worry.
I would suggest you to take rest, avoid intercourse and take progesterone hormone in the form of tablets or injections to support the pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
