What Causes Brownish Red Spot Under Right Breast?

I have a circular, approximately 2cm brownish-red spot just under my right breast. It is not raised or itch and feels exactly the same as all the other skin. It s simply a different color. I did have a child and finish breastfeeding within the last year. Could that be the cause? Should I be concerned?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It can be a fungal infection called tinea. You need to apply anti-fungal ointment containing Clotrimazole over that area.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shrikrushna Chavan, OB & GYN Specialist
