What Causes Brownish Discharge During Menstruation?

Around my ovulation time i started spotting brown blood and as the time progressed the brown spotting has gotten larger in amount and ultimately after about 10 days i now have red gooy type blood. The only difference is that this blood has no odor such as period blood and i have cramps more towards the right side of my uterus..should i be concerned? My period for this month isnt due for another week and this is the first time i have ever had this issue.im kind of worried something is wrong

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns .
Irregular periods and spotting can be due to hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism , or due to lesions in cervix, vagina or uterus.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
