What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After Medical Abortion?
Hi im 22years old and i had an abortion 11 days ago using the pill. 6 days after i had sexual intercourse but my bleeding had stopped. Ever since the next day i have had brownish discharged. I don t know if im okay or not or what type of antibiotics to get?Secondly soon after the abortion i started leaking milk from my breast, when will it stop?
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Spotting after abortion can be due to retained products of conception in the uterine cavity or due to infection in the uterus. Milk secretion from the breasts can be due to effect of pregnancy and abortion, and it will normalize in few days. I would suggest you to get a ultrasound done to confirm the retained products of conception and get further management accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health.
