What Causes Brown Vaginal Bleeding Along With Abdominal Cramps?

Hi, my period was 10 days late, I took a pregnancy test when it was about 5 days late but it was negative. I m not stressed or anything so I wasn t sure why it was late. When I was 8 days late I had some light spotting and then it stopped. This morning I woke up and had a dark brown blood coming out. I took it as my period. But I ve had extreme cramps and it s brown almost black in color and has a lot of clumps. What is going on?

Understand your concern.

Following are the cause of your problem:
1. High level of stress and Change in life style
2. Late ovulation
3. Excessive exercise
4. Drugs: Birth control pills, thyroid medication, Excessive tea and caffeine
5. Thyroid problem
6. Hormonal imbalance
7. Endometriosis
8. PCOS
9. Premenstrual symptoms
10. Vaginal infections


I think it is due to hormonal imbalance.
Just take Tablet meftal spas two times a day for pain.
Drink plenty of water
Eat fruits like papaya, orange, watermelon and pomengranate.
If problem is continue
You should consult the gynecologist
Do the following test
1. Pelvic examnation
Hormonal profile
USG
Endometrium biopsy
Ovarian follicle study
Hysteroscopy
