What Causes Brown Spots On Nipples?

I have small brown painless spots on both nipples that do not itch. I have noticed these very recently. It shows no pattern and is patchy and mixed in among the pink part of the nipple. Pink is the dominant color over the colors. I am insure if I am overthinking this or if it is something to be looked at. Please help!

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

It is related to the breast and about breast, our mind thinks the worst. Only brown spots on the nipple are really not the thing to worry about. Just look for other things also like any lump, any discharge from the nipple, any puckering, or anything doubtful. If your age is more than thirty years old or you have any family history regarding breast it is always good to go for ultrasound breast along with mammography.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
