What Causes Brown Menstrual Bleeding?

Hello. My last period was alarming, i bleed brown blood the entire time. I have never experinced this befor i normaly bleed red blood, this period came 2 days earlier than normal and im never early, it started out bearly there than the second day there was a fair amount and then slowed again. Im 24 and have had my period since 13yr old. Im very worried could there be something wrong or could i be pregnant?

Hello,

Pregnancy is unlikely. You can go for a urine pregnancy test to check whether you are pregnant or not. Infection like bacterial vaginosis or yeast is another possibility.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.
