Hi,

Walking up hills at your age might cause extreme fatigue and difficulty in breathing.

If I was your caring doctor though I'd ask to run a good cardiac check up and respiratory function test, chest X-ray to rule out respective problems.

If no cardiovascular or pulmonary issue, then you should run some simple exercises to get your body used with physical activity prior to starting your journey.

So, try to walk every day for 30 minutes. Try to climb small hills everyday. Start with simple steps first, followed by frequent pauses. Drink plenty of fluids. Avoid exposing to high temperatures.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
