Hi dear thanks for writing to Health Care Magic!!
tenderness and bumps near the areola can be due to infection, inflammation, menstruation related, insect bite or could be due to fibrous and nodular breast. So i advise you to consult a surgeon for clinical examination. and mammography is also advisable. I advise you as follow:
1) Use lidocaine spray for pain relief
2) Use calamine lotion for itching and redness
3) If severe pain is there Tab ibuprofen will be helpful
4) Proper hygiene wash the nipples and breast with savlon twice a day
5) Hot water plates also helpful
6) If problem persists then consult a surgeon once
Hope this will help you
Thanks and regards
