I am taking anastrolzole the side effect I m experiencing is bone pain, will this pain go away when I stop taking it in five years. What else would I experience with this bone pain. Will the pain worsen, should I take medication for the pain. Thank you in advance
Bone pain is a side effect of taking Anastrozole. If you are experiencing symptoms like joint stiffness, pain, muscle pain, mental or mood changes, you should report to the treating doctor. These are serious side effects which need immediate medical attention. With these side effects, you can experience other symptoms like abdominal pain, depression, vaginal discharge, chest pain or body weakness, etc.
You need to follow up treatment with medications that suit you better.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
