What Causes Blurred Vision In The Right Eye?

Hello, my mom is 81, over last 2-3 weeks developed "filmy" vision in her right eye that she says covers approximately the area between 12oclock and 3oclock. This is now interfering with her reading of distance (ie road signs, and reading) she thinks has become worse over last week. She has hx of htn, no diabetes, and has had bilateral cataract surgery. Currently gets by with reading glasses. She has had problems with headaches over the last year or so, with no definitive cause identified by md. My question is should she be seen asap, or can this wait for a few days, until she returns home to see her eye doctor (she is at my home visiting)
