My son 17 yrs old broke his nose about 3 weeks ago. A couple of days ago he told me he had a terrible headache and his eye was hurting. After a couple of hours later he said he eye was blurry. He was hit by a baseball on the left side and I was his left eye that was blurry. The next day he said he couldn t see well. Today I took him to an eye specialist.. They want to admit him to the hospital in the morning for tests and also treat him for optic neuritis THROUGH IV with steroids . My daughter was diagnosed about 4 yrs ago with MS. Is it possible the hard hit to the face which broke his nose can cause this. The ball hit him on the side of the nose close to he eye. Same side his eye lost vision. Please give your advice..
