What Causes Blood In Vomit?

Hi, may! I am mother of a 3yr old boy, weight 26.2. I took him to a doctor after he has been vomiting for 3days. I was told that he has tonsils now he just woke me up to take him to the bathroom to vomit and blood came out. Can it be tonsils that burst in red form.

Hi...it is unlikely that tonsils have burst and there blood in the vomitus. Blood in the vomit is a serious symptom which needs to be evaluated immediately. I suggest you take him to the nearest emergency room immediately.
