What Causes Blood In Eye White After Surgery For Glaucoma?

I have had surgery for narrow angle glaucoma in both eyes. The left eye was 2 years ago when I had a catarrach removed opened the duct and lens implant. I have had good reports including about a month ago with pressure in both eyes 12. Dr. mentioned last appointment to consider lazer treatment left eye to prevent cloudiness in left eye. Today for the first time I noticed what looks like blood in the white of the corner of the left eye next to the nose. What are possible causes and treatment until I can contact doctor in the morning.

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having hemorrhage in the white part of the eye following surgery.
This is subconjunctival hemorrhage and it will resolve over 1-2 weeks.
No treatment is required for this condition.
Hence no need yo worry.
If you are not having any symptoms then no need to consult your doctor.

Hope thus is helpful to you.

Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
